I’ve been fiddling with poetry that is formatted in letters that typically someone wouldn’t send. I’ve also been making word sequence poetry that I would post as my facebook status. I love fiddling with words. I’ll be posting a few of the poems here, as currently they are all over the place–in facebook, paper journals, etc.
Sleep Deprivation:
Dear Toddler,
Thank you for keeping me up all night.
I was able to read an entire novel & ponder the universe
As I lay atop the sleeping bag
And watched as you read a Kung Fu Panda 2 book
…At 4AM.
